Safeguarding at Swakeleys School for Girls
At Swakeleys School for Girls, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the principles set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every student feels valued, protected, and empowered to thrive. Our safeguarding ethos is built on vigilance, transparency, and early intervention, ensuring that the welfare of every child is our top priority. All staff receive regular training and are fully equipped to recognise signs of abuse, neglect, or harm, and to take swift, appropriate action. Together, we foster a culture of openness, trust, and shared responsibility—where every girl can flourish in a secure and inclusive school community.

How can the school support your family?
Family Support: The school’s family liaison officer can offer guidance to families, signpost to local services and act as a bridge between families and education.
